Captina Watershed Coordinator Position

 

The Belmont Soil & Water Conservation District is now accepting applications for a full-time Captina Watershed Coordinator.

 

Starting salary range will be $26,000 to $30,000 for a maximum of three years.

Funding beyond three years is undetermined at this time.

 

The Captina Creek Watershed Coordinator is responsible for organizing watershed planning, education, and implementation for the protection and restoration of local water resources.Requirements of this position include a bachelor�s in Natural Resources, Environmental or Agricultural Sciences, Biological sciences or related field.Qualified individuals must have leadership skills and the ability to work with a wide range of personality types and backgrounds and develop group consensus and be able to coordinate a complex multi-organizational project.Good presentation and writing skills required and be capable to work in both office and outdoor environments.Must posses valid driver�s license, be insurable, and be able to pass random drug and alcohol testing.
