Captina Watershed Coordinator Position
The Belmont Soil & Water Conservation District is now accepting applications for a full-time Captina Watershed Coordinator.
Starting salary range will be $26,000 to $30,000 for a maximum of three years.
Funding beyond three years is undetermined at this time.�
The Captina Creek Watershed Coordinator is responsible for organizing watershed planning, education, and implementation for the protection and restoration of local water resources.� Requirements of this position include a bachelor�s in Natural Resources, Environmental or Agricultural Sciences, Biological sciences or related field.� Qualified individuals must have leadership skills and the ability to work with a wide range of personality types and backgrounds and develop group consensus and be able to coordinate a complex multi-organizational project.� Good presentation and writing skills required and be capable to work in both office and outdoor environments.� Must posses valid driver�s license, be insurable, and be able to pass random drug and alcohol testing.
